In the decades since, the hospital\u2019s service area has grown to a population of over 810,000, and Phoebe has grown into a more progressive community health system with more than 5,500 members of the \u201cPhoebe Family\u201d. Today, Phoebe continues to remain dedicated to Judge Putney\u2019s original mission of service to all by bringing the most advanced medical talent and technology to the citizens of southwest Georgia.<br \/>The mission of the Phoebe Foundation, established in 1989, is to support the Phoebe Putney Health System by fundraising on its behalf.
