Phoebe Breaks Ground on New Urgent Care in Lee County

Phoebe leaders, providers, and community partners gathered to mark the beginning of construction for the clinic, which will offer prompt care for non‑life threatening illnesses and injuries for patients of all ages.

This new facility will help ensure Lee County residents have convenient access to timely, high-quality care close to home, and it represents another important investment in the health of southwest Georgia,” said Scott Steiner, Phoebe Putney Health System President and CEO.

The clinic will be staffed by experienced physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants who treat conditions including:

  • Asthma and allergy symptoms
  • Cuts requiring minor stitches
  • Minor broken bones and simple fractures
  • Respiratory illnesses such as flu, strep throat, COVID‑19, and RSV

The Marlow site will become part of Phoebe’s growing network of urgent care clinics across the region, including Phoebe Urgent Care of East Albany, Phoebe Urgent Care of Lee County, Phoebe Urgent Care North Campus, Phoebe Urgent Care at Northwest Albany, Phoebe Urgent Care of Camilla and Phoebe Urgent Care of Sylvester.

Phoebe Urgent Care Telehealth provides convenient, remote access to medical services for certain conditions and operates Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., ensuring patients can receive expert care even when an in-person visit is not possible or convenient.

In addition to the new locations, Phoebe recently completed renovations to its urgent care clinic on its North Campus and will soon renovate the clinic at Phoebe Northwest, reinforcing Phoebe’s commitment to improving care access across the region.
