Phoebe North Inpatient Rehabilitation

Phoebe Inpatient Rehabilitation Center located on the Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital (North Campus) offers comprehensive diagnostics and treatment to help individuals overcome functional limitations brought on by injury or illness. The rehabilitation team consists of physiatrists, nurses, neuropsychologists, physical therapists, therapeutic recreational specialists, speech pathologists, and case managers. These healthcare professionals work with individuals of all ages, from pediatrics to geriatrics.

The rehabilitation team provides treatment to patients with impairments including:

  • Neurological
  • Orthopaedic
  • Developmental
  • Cardiac

Through our team approach we are able to offer individualized assessment and treatment to each patient in acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, day treatment program, or outpatient rehabilitation services.

Services include:

  • Physical Therapy
  • Occupational Therapy
  • Speech Therapy
  • Recreational Therapy

Together the staff provides a smooth transition for the patient to return to their environment through family training, home evaluations, community outings and discharge planning. Several specialized programs are offered, including post-polio syndrome clinic, orthotic and prosthetic training, wound care program, therapeutic riding and a comprehensive driving program.

The ultimate goal is to help patients achieve their highest possible level of functional independence.
