Medical Students:

The Phoebe Family Medicine Residency Program considers the training of medical students to be an integral part of our educational mandate. We are pleased to offer both core and elective clerkships.

During their clerkships, students will have the opportunity to see patients who are varied in both demographics and medical complexity. Students will interact closely with faculty and residents and will be able to observe a variety of clinical styles with respect to the practice of medicine.

Crimmins House

Complimentary accommodations are usually provided at the Crimmins House, named after Dr. Laurence Crimmins, former Georgia Family Physician of the Year and a retired member of our teaching faculty.

This beautifully restored 1890’s Victorian cottage is located less than a block from the hospital and has nine single rooms with private or semi-private baths.
