Thyroid Cancer (DRAFT)

Thyroid cancer originates in the thyroid gland, an essential component of your endocrine system. Situated at the base of the neck and shaped like a butterfly, the thyroid produces hormones that manage body temperature, heart rate and metabolism. The majority of thyroid cancers are highly curable.
