Ashley Wood is an advanced practice provider at Phoebe Gastroenterology. Wood works directly under Dr. Afolabi's supervision to help fast track diagnosis and provide a broad range of treatment options for gastrointestinal related disorders.

She joined Phoebe Gastroenterology in 2020. Prior to becoming a family nurse practitioner, Wood was a registered nurse for 6 years, 4 years which was with Phoebe digestive diseases. She also served in medical-surgical nursing.

Wood received her Master of Science in nursing from South University and is certified as a family nurse practitioner by the American Academy of nurse practitioners.
