Dr. Neal is a native of Atlanta and joined the Phoebe Cancer Center in January 1996 after completing a 3-yr Hematology/Oncology fellowship at Emory. After graduating from Georgia Tech in 1984 he obtained his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia followed by a 4-yr Internal Medicine Residency at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Hematology and Oncology.
Dr. Neal’s patients repeatedly commend him for his caring and compassionate attitude.
He has a special interest in malignant/benign hematology but treats all types of cancer and collaborates closely with his colleagues in medical oncology as well as radiation oncology and surgical oncology to assure optimal patient outcomes through multidisciplinary care.
