About Jason Barnhart, MD

Dr. Barnhart earned his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine in Portsmouth, Dominica. He completed his residency at Valley Baptist Family Practice Residency Program in Harlingen, Texas.
Dr. Barnhart served six years in the United States Army at Ft. Bragg, North Carolina as a Sergeant, Medical Specialist, where he provided medical support for a variety of operations, including airborne and special operations training. He later joined the United States Air Force and served as a Captain, Services Officer at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma.
He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and holds certifications in Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics, Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
