Albany, GA | February 9, 2026 – Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital (PPMH) is among the first in the country to offer MENTOR™ MemoryGel™ Enhance Breast Implants, the first and only breast implant line specifically engineered for women with larger breasts following mastectomy. This newly available implant line expands access to more inclusive and personalized reconstruction options for post‑mastectomy patients across Southwest Georgia and beyond.

Until now, an estimated 15% of these patients lacked access to implant sizes that truly fit their anatomy. Previously, 800 cc was the largest implant available, often making it difficult for patients needing greater volume to achieve balanced outcomes, contributing to lower reconstruction rates.

The MENTOR™ MemoryGel™ Enhance Product Family addresses this unmet need by offering implant volumes ranging from 930 cc to 1445 cc, giving more women the opportunity to achieve reconstruction outcomes aligned with their bodies and aesthetic goals.

The implants received FDA approval for primary and revision reconstruction in November 2024, following data from a 10-year study. Three‑year results demonstrated the safety and effectiveness of MENTOR™ MemoryGel™ Enhance Breast Implants for post‑mastectomy, implant-based breast reconstruction.
