Phoebe’s Annual Men’s Health Fair Taking Place This Weekend

Albany, GA | June 12, 2023 – June is Men’s Health Month, which means Phoebe is gearing up for its annual Men’s Health Fair. This year the health fair will take place on Saturday, June 17, from 8 a.m. to noon on Albany State University’s East Campus in the Billy C. Black Auditorium in Albany.

Healthcare experts from Phoebe and Morehouse School of Medicine will discuss common health conditions affecting men, symptoms and provide healthy living tips. “We have a wonderful group of panelists that will discuss a range of health topics related to men. And, I think the relaxed and welcoming environment of the barbershop theme gives participants an opportunity to freely ask questions about their health and emphasize the importance of health screenings,” said Keisa Mansfield, Community Outreach & Oncology Wellness Manager.

Additionally, attendees will be able to get free health screenings for blood pressure, diabetes, cholesterol, and prostate from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m.

This year’s Men’s Health Fair is being held in partnership with Albany State University, Albany Technical College, Flint River Fresh, Project Elevation, and ZERO Prostate Cancer.
