With more than 20 years of experience in general surgery, Dr. Bennett began his medical training at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, where he earned his medical degree. He completed his integrated surgical residency at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio, and his fellowship in advanced laparoscopic and bariatric surgery at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville.
