About Edward Vance, MD

Dr. Edward Vance, originally from Atlanta, received his M.D. degree from Emory University School of Medicine in 2000. He subsequently completed a residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2003. Following the completion of his training, he joined Albany Area Primary Healthcare as a board-certified Internal Medicine Physician. Currently, Dr. Vance is the Clinic Director for Lee Medical Arts Center in Leesburg, GA and the Chief Medical Officer for Albany Area Primary Health Care.
In addition to his medical practice, he has served on the Medical Executive Committee of Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital as the Secretary/Treasurer. Prior to that office, Dr. Vance served as the Chairman of the Department of Medicine for Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Additionally, Dr. Vance has served on the Lee County Board of Health for the past several years. In his very little free time, Dr. Vance enjoys running with the Albany Run-Walk. Since 2005, he has run the Chicago Marathon, the Marine Corps Marathon, and the Albany Marathon along with many other half-marathons. Dr. Vance is happily married to Aditi Vance.
