About Erwinson Bassig, MD

Dr. Bassig serves as the Medical Director of Neonatology at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Dr. Bassig completed his fellowship in neonatal-perinatal medicine at the Augusta University Medical College of Georgia. He earned his medical degree from the University of Santo Tomas in Manila, Philippines and completed his pediatric residency at Michigan State University – Kalamazoo Center for Medical Studies. He is a trained educator in the STABLE Program, a program that exclusively focuses on the post-resuscitation/pre-transport stabilization care of sick infants.
