We are excited to announce the 3rd Annual Play Yellow Charity Golf Tournament will be held by Phoebe Foundation in April of 2025. Led by Jack and Barbara Nicklaus, the PGA TOUR and Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, “Play Yellow for Children’s Hospitals” strives to bring the entire golf world together to help the 10 million kids treated at local children’s hospitals each year. Our tournament will raise money for our local infants treated at Phoebe. Golf spots are limited! Register below!

This premier tournament is held at the prestigious Doublegate Country Club.

 

 

There will be shotgun starts for morning and afternoon play. Prizes will be awarded to first and second place in both rounds. There will also be exciting Hole-In-One, Longest Drive and Closest to the Pin prizes.

Inspiration Behind Play Yellow

Craig Smith was the son of the minister for Barbara Nicklaus in Columbus, Ohio, who was diagnosed at age 11 of Ewing’s Sarcoma. One day, Jack called Craig to check in on him and they began a relationship. Following a tournament victory, Craig told Jack that he had won because he was wearing his lucky yellow shirt. Inspired by the yellow shirt, Jack began wearing yellow on Sundays a symbol of support for Craig’s battle. Read more…
