Outpatient Services

Phoebe Behavioral Health Clinic is designed for patients to come on an outpatient basis.

Our team comprises psychiatrists and psychiatric nurse practitioners, bolstered by a group of highly skilled therapists, all committed to delivering exceptional care. Our comprehensive services encompass medication management by board-certified psychiatrists and advanced practice providers (APPs). Additionally, we provide traditional individual therapy and group therapy for ages 5 and up and an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for ages 18 and up.

Group Therapy

Group therapy is a transformative form of support that brings individuals facing similar challenges together in a safe and confidential space. Led by a skilled therapist, these sessions encourage open sharing, empathy, and mutual encouragement among participants. By sharing experiences and strategies, you can gain valuable insights, develop coping skills, and forge meaningful connections with others on your journey towards emotional well-being and personal growth.

Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

The Intensive Outpatient Program is designed for individuals who present with a psychiatric diagnosis and have the need for treatment, which is more intensive than traditional outpatient clinic visits and less intensive than inpatient 24-hour hospitalization.  Our program is thoughtfully structured to address the distinct needs of three age groups: Adults (18 and older), Adolescents (14 to 17), and Children (8 to 13).

The overarching objective of our IOP is to achieve stabilization, thereby averting the necessity for inpatient hospitalization. Additionally, it serves as a transitionary phase for patients prepared to leave the hospital but still requiring specialized care. During their enrollment in the IOP, patients benefit from regular follow-up appointments with a psychiatrist, scheduled at least once every 30 days, to ensure optimal medication management.

Our approach follows a meticulously planned continuum of care, facilitating seamless patient transitions to the most clinically appropriate and cost-effective level of treatment.

The IOP goes beyond the conventional, striving to equip patients with comprehensive knowledge, insight, and skills to effectively navigate their behavioral health challenges. Our therapy modalities encompass group sessions, individual counseling, and family therapy, all led by master’s level therapists. Participants in the Intensive Outpatient Program engage in treatment for a minimum of 3 hours per day, three to five days per week.

A pivotal aspect of our program is dedicated to relapse prevention, incorporating a crisis care plan enriched with wrap-around services to ensure a successful discharge from the program. At Phoebe Behavioral Health Clinic, we are unwavering in our commitment to your well-being, offering unparalleled expertise and support throughout your journey to recovery.
